The Palms – Cowes

An architect designed home can be a considered, timeless addition to an already speactacular site, and this project is not exception. Drawing inspiration from the clients love of all that is Palm Springs, this custom luxury home provides an abudance of features all within a small, confined footprint.

Situated on one of Cowes hidden bays, Graham Jones Design has created a summer time dream for the clients of this design to ensure the experience of living by the ocean is enhanced and enriched. 

The timeless charm of a beach side home is complimented here with the modern interpretaion of a mid-century modern aesthetic, incorporating a natural clean material palette, with lightweight cladding and natural colours with the upper storey showcasing a cantilevering pool with a glass end, whilst maximising views between the two levels of the homes to the water and horizon beyond.  The living spaces face towards the water, with expanse of glazing ensuring to capture views to the beach and beyond.
